The U.S. Mission in Addis Ababa is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Public Health Specialist – Treatment in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Office in Ethiopia.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Job holder is an HIV/AIDS public health specialist responsible for the implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of assigned Treatment program activities and studies that are funded under the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in Ethiopia. Under the direction of the Senior Public Health Specialist, job holder’s duties include technical support, advice and guidance, day-to-day program and administrative management, and coordination and collaboration with colleagues of other agencies and public health entities that administer PEPFAR-funded programs in country.
